An Interview with 2021’s Content Marketing Rising Star, Abbie Schofield
2021’s International Content Marketing Awards were hugely popular for the content industry and were the biggest awards that we’d ever seen. With more entries submitted than ever before, it was the most competitive season to date.
There were 35 gold winners in 2021, focusing on all areas of content marketing, including a spotlight on the various content tools, as well as specific content marketing roles. One award of note is the Rising Star award. This award was for anyone under 30 working in a content marketing function in an agency or at a brand that demonstrates an outstanding contribution to content marketing, as well as their own progress.
Abbie Schofield, the Social Content Editor at SevenC3 was voted as the gold winner by an independent judging panel, naming her the Content Marketing Rising Star of 2021.
Award Case Study: Dare to Meet
Agency: OTW
Client: The Swedish Red Cross
Award: Best Membership, 2022
Much of the Red Cross’ crisis preparation work is based on volunteer help. A system and communication that pays attention to and helps those who are there to support others, is a must for high-quality, sustainable volunteer organizations.
To spread this important knowledge more efficiently across the whole organization, and through Swedish society at large, the Swedish Red Cross was looking for a new communication tool to help prepare many more people in the event of a crisis.
With that in mind, the Red Cross wanted to produce psychological First Aid educational material that strengthens participants’ ability to act in accordance with the Swedish Red Cross’ values when they meet people in need.
“I cannot tell you what it meant to the team here at Dialogue to win Best Medium Content Agency at the 2022 CMA Awards. It came after a host of other CMA wins over the years, but this was undoubtedly the cherry on the cake. Every day and for every client we produce outstanding work, and the agency is constantly buzzing with great ideas and great creative executions that are appreciated by clients and their audiences all over the world – but to be acknowledged by our peers as well is a highly valued result.”
